Well first of all realize that it's not the phone you are afraid of.

How could you be?

It's just this thingy with numbers on it.

You maybe afraid because it's a

device used to CONNECT.


Ask yourself why you are afraid to connect

With another human being

Maybe it's something that happened in your past

Either way you need to deal with it.

That's why success begins from the inside out.


So on to how to get rid of phone fear.

You pick up the receiver

wait for the dial tone

punch the numbers and when the other person

answers say hello and talk to them.

You already know the drill.

Then you do it over and over and over

That's how you get rid of the fear

TAKE ACTION.

Don't meditate, levitate on it...

Like Nike says JUST DO IT.



If you were looking for some voodoo magic trick to it

sorry, lol there is none.

No one is better than you or beneath you

So why be afraid to talk to someone who asked for info.

I know that Attraction marketers are saying that prospecting

is out but i still believe you need to learn to master

The art of communication, what better way.

Communication is critical to your success.

Not to mention there are tons of people making a fortune

From prospecting...Of course if you don't learn to become a

Master prospector you'll most likely look for the easy way out and

Hide behind technology.


People don't make deals with computers.


I've earned several thousands of dollars from calling leads

while others bitched that the same leads sucked.


There is something to it but if you don't EDUCATE yourself...

Well you'll just keep hitting wall after wall.


Ever heard the statement practice makes perfect

Well I believe practice makes permanent.

Call a few people daily

Then slowly increase your numbers

Do it over and over and soon you'll be

I'm watching the Michael Jackson memorial.

I'm sad because we lost a legend.




What Al Sharpton about said Michael really touched my soul

We have all been there.

People telling us who do we think we are to

Strive to be better

Or to give up and get back in the box.

You can't do this and you can't do that

I say, WHATEVER...


Michael Jackson was not perfect

He was a law unto himself

True, he was the greatest entertainer that ever lived.

He flaunted his individuality.

he was different, only Michael could do Michael.


In my note yesterday I mentioned that

The screw -ups that always win...

Are the ones who don't give a rip what others think

And never give up.

Did Michael Screw up? sure he did

Did I screw up? hell yeah, more than I can count.

Was he human? absolutely

So are we.

My wish is that while he was alive he could have

had this type of support as in death.



We have a special calling

We were not put on this earth to be wallflowers

To sit on the sidelines

I believe with every fiber of my being

That we are called to be world Changers and History Makers

Most will not embrace that calling, some will give up

At the first sign of a speed bump

Then again you and I don't want to be most people right?

When I first started my Business

I was a complete newbie.

I was spending money like crazy.

Well the more things didn't work the more

I was told to go out and spend more of it.

I was listening to wrong advise but it was

MY business, MY responsibility.

I'm not blaming anyone.

But boy did I feel dumb when I started to wise up.





I did not have a budget. Not having a business

budget can be really dangerous.

I know, I know. Who likes those right?

It's really all about being smart vs stupid.

You do need to keep track of what's going out

and coming in.

I was not THINKING like an entrepreneur

like, duh!

Hello...

Just because you did not go out

and spend a million on a franchise

does not mean you don't have a real business

The IRS might have something to say about that, yikes...

Yeah PAY YOUR TAXES, lol.



There are many Network Marketers that earn

Huge income, but they are broke. Why?

Well they spend more than what comes in

That's not cool. Something can be done

it really does not have to be that way.


Think stupid spending vs smart spending.


We all need to learn to THINK like SMART entrepreneurs

learning business terms is fun too, heck why not.

It's OK to drop the MLM jargon...

I'm telling you once you do

your confidence will go UP and you are

so going to feel better, trust me.




It's time to get professionalism back into the industry.

So learn to work with what you have.

learn skills & become effective in order to

make your budget work for you.

It's not a big secret that 97% of the people

who get into network marketing fail.

Most of these people fail not because

they have the wrong MLM company, poor upline support

or even crappy leads.

Most people fail in network marketing

because they simply don't have enough

motivation to drive them to do the actions

they need to do in order to succeed.

In short, they don't have a real enough "why."

Notice that I said "real" and not "big" enough.

It's important to draw that distinction here.

Big dreams are great as are big goals.

In fact, I haven't met anyone who doesn't

have some big fantastic dream floating in his or her head somewhere.

One upon a time I had terrible phone fear.

But I wanted to succeed so much that I found

A way to get over it.

I simply changed the way I saw the situation

It was amazing.

Once again the thing I feared became something I loved


I use to call about 30- 60 leads per day.


Social Networking or Attraction Marketing

Does not mean you do not need to

Practice the Art Of Communication.

You do need to talk to people who call you anyway.


Well I'd call these prospects and things would go well

Man I thought I had it.

Then I'd make appointments but got

Tons of no-shows.

Has that happened to you before?

Come on, I know it has.

It's one of the top complaints of Networkers.


You maybe invited them to a hotel meeting or some event

And they still plan on showing up right?

Excuses after excuses.

Why are you even chasing them?



Well you may think you are all that and a bag of chips

But your prospects may not see you that way.

They may not be that into you.




Just because your product or company is great

Does not mean it's right for your prospect.

You have got to learn to come from a place of

SERVICE and it's your job to find out what there needs are.


Oh newsflash, you sign them up on HYPE they will not

last long. Wonder why they hand you money and

then enter the witness protection program?

Well, think about that the next time to dragged

someone to some hyped up meeting.

When it's all over they go home and are by themselves

wondering what the heck happened.


Hey it happened to me.



Here's an example

As a prospect looking for a home based business

I'm not so huge on The Health Industry even if it's important.

So even though I can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars selling

Lotions potions, pills and juices is just not my thing to market.

BUT, let's say if you are building a relationship with me and found out

That I love kickboxing and fitness then if you had some

sort of product in that arena, you would not need to SELL me,

Convince me, twist my arm or become a prospecting stalker.

I would be all over it, in a heartbeat.

Still the health Industry but fitness niche got me.

I'd rather workout, jamming to hip hop than swallow pills

or drink juice. I'm picky with taste, very picky.

It may taste good to you but may not be the same for me

Some people love oatmeal, I hate it, yuck.

You see the difference right?

Now if you don't have what I want or what's right for me

It's your duty as a professional and coming from a place

of service to tell me that you don't have what I need.

Even better you can help by pointing them

in the right direction.


There is so much more to that including how to earn even

if your prospect never joins your MLM.




Ok your prospects are smart, but do you know how to Market to them?

Wonder why they run from you...

They never show up for appointments

Or maybe you called them and they pretended they did not ask for info.




It does not matter who you are

They see you as a threat.

You are all up in there space

THEY DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU TILL THEY ARE READY...

Remember how you feel when the phone rings

and you think it's a telemarketer calling to sell you

something.

Or you pick up the phone by accident, lol

In your mind you are like "shut up already" NOT INTERESTED!!!

What do you think is going through there minds when

You call them for the first time?

Do you know how to neutralize what they are thinking?

Even if they laugh and giggle with you.

Can you tell when they are lying to you?




You watch Infomercials don't you?

Me too.

So If see a service or product on TV and I think it's cool

I'll be on the phone or internet buying faster than

You could say credit card.



Yes you must learn how to talk on the phone.

Don't buy into the bogus lie that this is not important

We are in the PEOPLE business

People make deals with people, not machines.




You are here to build a dynasty

so this is a must. You must learn how to

Communicate with your future business partners

When they call you up asking for more info

And during the process that you are working with them.

There is no get rich quick

Everyone is NOT your prospect

So many more lies, to expose....

How many times will you go around the mountain

feeding off wrong information

Wondering why the heck it doesn't work.


Simple, You forgot to EDUCATE yourself on how to perform in

the industry you decided to make your career.

I thought I'd share this today.

It's especially for the person

Who wants to come out and PLAY but they are scared.

That person knows they have it

But sits on the sidelines, wishing they could get in the game.

Wishing will get you nowhere.

ACTION is the only thing that will.





Several years ago while learning to drive

I was sitting at a red light waiting for it to turn green

I was scared out of my mind.

My instructor whom I adored for his patience

was sitting there telling me how awesome I was doing.

The light turned green but I was so scared I did not even realize it.

All I heard him say was

"what are you waiting for, a miracle"

lol...

I will never forget that. I laughed all day long.


So what are you waiting for?

Are you scared to take ACTION.

Always remember this...

You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.



I remember I was terrified to start my first blog post.

I was so worried about what others would think

What if my spelling was jacked up...

What if I didn't make sense...

What if I was laughed at...

What if, what if, what if...

Then I heard the voice of my mentor saying

You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

At that point I said "Screw it, I'm doing it" My exact words, lol



I haven't stopped since.

But guess what...

The thing I was scared of doing, became the thing I love.

Writing is now a passion. I always wanted to be a writer as a teenager

But always thought I was never good enough.



Boy, I'm so happy I next that lie.

I told it to go straight to the pit of hell where it belonged, lol.


Fear is really False Evidence Appearing Real.

So if you do the thing you fear even it you do it

shaking you are going to win, hands down.


I'm not done yet, there are other fears I have to face.

But I will and you can too.

Little by little.


I also know that I'll get better at writing if I keep doing it.



So get in the game

Don't sit on the sidelines anymore

tell the coach you want off the bench and in the game.

I see the number on your jersey says #1

Because you are #1


Don't think about what others might think

If you screw up so what.

The ones who never even get started hang around

complaining all day long, and have miserable lives

Complainers remain.

Don't try to be all perfect.

Being who you are is the new sexy.

You are all that and a bag of chips.

You don't even know the power you have.


Just jump and develop your wings on the way down

If you fall, simple get up and try again.

Keep trying untill you get the desired effect.

You'll be glad you did.


Remember....


You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.



Don't forget to develop your skills.

most of the time people are scared because they don't

know what they are doing.

I'm just sitting here thinking...

I talk to people all the time that need

Network Marketing advise but some are really

stuck in in there ways, the non working ways, imagine that.


It time to get serious people...

Do you think this is really the time to keep

wasting your money in deals that don't work.


Do you honestly think you can take another hit.

Maybe your cash register is going cha ching every minute

If it is then this probably does not apply to you.

If you are having a hard time the best thing you can

Get some real outside help.



If you are following the advise of others and

New people are coming into this industry.

Loads of them are losing there jobs.

Many are scared out of there minds
